STR Announces Opening of State-of-the-Art Quality and Safety Testing Laboratory in India serving the apparel, textile, and leather industries.
STR is a premier international provider of testing and quality assurance services to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of softlines products. Our apparel and textile laboratories are strategically located throughout the world to support our clients’ regional manufacturing sites. STR’s expert technical staff has extensive experience evaluating the quality of all types of consumer softlines products including garments, fabrics, home furnishings, and hosiery.
Specific services include:
- Testing to AATCC, ASTM, and CPSC protocols for products that will be sold in the U.S. and applying ISO and other appropriate international standards to products that will be sold in Europe and elsewhere.
Tests include colorfastness, strength tests, chemical analytical tests, aging tests, flammability, fiber analysis, construction, fabric performance, hosiery testing, and defect investigation.
